What is workplace giving?
Workplace giving is a simple, tax efficient and cost efficient way to donate to Cancer Council SA. By agreeing to donate a small, regular amount each pay day you could make a substantial contribution over time and barely notice the difference. Because donations are made from pre-tax pay, meaning that the tax deduction is immediate and guaranteed, there is no need to collect, keep and claim receipts. It couldn't be easier! Here’s how it works… Say you decide to donate $5.00 to Cancer Council SA each week. Assuming a marginal tax rate of 32.5 per cent that will mean you’ll have just $3.20 deducted from your net income each week. About the price of a cup of coffee really. In this case Cancer Council SA would receive the full $5.00. Should your employer agree to match your donation dollar for dollar, that could add up to over $500 a year! Get a few of your workmates to join you and you’d know you’re making a truly substantial contribution to achieve our mission to defeat cancer
Make it happen Cancer Council SA can help you get involved with workplace giving. If your employer has a workplace giving program in place, you can become a Workplace Giving donor today. Please note that if your employer does not have a workplace giving program in place you will be unable to make regular donations from your pay.

Become a Charity Champion in your workplace A great way to support Cancer Council is to help us through your workplace. This can mean becoming involved in promoting your employer's Workplace Giving program or helping publicise and co-ordinate our fundraising events such as Daffodil Day and Australia's Biggest Morning Tea. Raising awareness of Cancer Council's programs and activities is an invaluable support which you can provide in your community. Employer information
