Hold your own fundraiser
You may already know what you would like to do, but in case you don't, we have lots of ideas to help get you started. You can turn virtually anything you enjoy doing into a fundraiser whether it be jumping on your bike and riding across Australia or hosting a dinner party for your friends and family.
We are continuously surprised by the amazing number of imaginative and new fundraising ideas people come up with. Holding a community event is one of the most effective and rewarding ways of raising funds for Cancer Council SA. These community events, which raise hundreds of thousands of dollars every year and involve hundreds of people from all over SA, make a great contribution in the fight against cancer - and they're a lot of fun! To get started just fill in the  Fundraising Proposal. Once your application has been approved, we can provide you with the appropriate letter of authority and support in terms of signage and use of our logo.Please be advised that Cancer Council SA encourages all events to adopt a SunSmart policy and cannot be involved in any event that promotes smoking.
